Mohyal Bhawan

The Mohyal Bhawan has been recently re-constructed, at a cost of Rs. 45-Rs. 50 lakhs, and 16 rooms , with attached toilets, have been built, , on the 1st floor and 2nd floor (8 rooms on each floor), along with other infrastructure. The existing hall on the ground floor has been made larger to serve as a Meeting Hall for holding functions, but NOT for dining.

As of now (February 2006), all the rooms are non-air-conditioned and non-air-cooled. The rooms have been earmarked essentially for short-term stay of the fraternity members from outstations and of students pursuing studies in Delhi. Non-Mohyals also may be allotted rooms, subject to availability. At present, only lodging arrangements are available in the Mohyal Bhawan and the occupants of rooms have to make their own arrangements for tea, breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. No alcoholic drinks or non-vegetarian food is permitted to be consumed within the Bhawan premises.

Pending framing of detailed rules and regulations for the allotment of the rooms/hall, maintenance charges at the following rates are being provisionally levied for stay at the Mohyal Bhawan:

Note 1: A refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 1000/- will be payable, at the time of booking, by the parties, who do bulk-booking of rooms, with or without the Hall. In such cases, the maintenance charges will be payable, in full, in advance. Bookings, without such advance payment, are liable to be cancelled. The Security Deposit will be refunded to the parties concerned, at the end of their stay, after deducting the cost of damages, if any, caused by them to the Bhawan property, during their stay.

Note 2: Room Coolers have been installed in all the 16 rooms in the Mohyal Bhawan, Inderpuri. Because of this, the maintenance charges for the rooms have been marginally increased to Rs. 200/- per day per room (For Mohyals) and Rs.400/- per day per room (For Non-Mohyals)
