All Mohyals, residing anywhere in India or abroad, are the basic constituents of the community. They are the living cells of the Biradari. The General Mohyal Sabha (GMS) is the (Apex) Body of the community and the different local sabhas its various organs. The local sabhas also function as the eyes and ears of the Apex Body, and even thinking brain sometimes.

 A living body is strong only if its basic constituents are strong. All Mohyals have to be strong. This strength has to come from within and cannot be injected by any outside agency. While the Mohyals can utilize their individual strength for the service of the community, the effect will be manifold, if it is channelised properly.

 Some Mohyals ask what the Biradri has done for them. It would be better if such people could ask themselves what they have done for the Biradri. In order that they can do maximum service to the community, and that, from being an unidentifiable part of the mass of the general run of Mohyals, they gain an identify within the community, and that, instead of saying “We are also Mohyals”, they are part of great movement, it is suggested that they become individually identifiable Mohyals as Patrons, Parthist Members, Life Members or Annual Members of the GMS. They can do so by paying the prescribed fees, and furnishing their full name and other particulars, including their complete address, telephone number, profession, place of origin etc. in the prescribed application form. This would enable computerization of the data, which will come in handy in the future.

 The present prescribed one-time fees payable for becoming a Patron, Parthisht Member or GMS Life Member, as the case may be, are Rs. 21,000. Rs.11,000/- and Rs. 2,100, respectively. By doing so, they become life members of the GMS without payment of any further fees and shall also be supplied with a complimentary copy of the Mohyal Mitter for life. They will also be entitled to vote in any GMS elections. Besides, a Patron or Parthisht member shall be a special invitee at any meeting of the GMS and can also be nominated as a trustee and/or a member of the Advisory Committee of the GMS. The GMS Life Member also can attend the meeting of the GMS and shall have the right to vote.

 The present Annual fee for GMS Membership is Rs.  100/-. However, such of the Mohyals, who send their applications for becoming annual members through their respective local sabhas, are entitled to 50% concession in the membership fee, provided they are members of the local sabhas concerned. The local sabhas have to certify that the applicant is a regular member of their sabha.

 Through this Appeal, all Mohyals- whether they are in India or outside- are being requested to become members of the GMS by becoming Patrons/Parthisht Members/GMS Life Members/Annual Members, so that they become part of the great movement spearheaded by the GMS, in the service of the community.
